Queensland hen weekends

Posted by usha in Untagged

When we were tying up the loose ends of the hen party celebrations, sun and sand took the centre stage as we wanted something different from the gray and chilly weather of our English home town. We were in for a pleasant surprise as we landed in the sun bathed city of  Queensland. Easy going locals, a crammed hen party list and heaps of wine and dine options, everything promised the ultimate luxury we could ever ask for.

Queensland offered us a checkered activity list by virtue of its diverse landscape and climatic conditions. There were expansive deserts where we explored the sand dunes and enjoyed a camel ride while the beaches dotted with eateries and taverns were epicenters of fun and frolic. An exhilarating  spell of scuba diving and snorkeling took us to the exciting marine world of the Great barrier Reef, one of the UN heritage listed sites. Sailing, angling and  surfing fitted the bills of the water bums in our gang while the shop hoppers set out in search of some  cool bargains. Aboriginal sites  and museums took us on a journey towards the interesting past of this city.

There was a crop of cafes and watering holes where we could relax and chill out. There were interesting salsa and belly dancing lessons on offer where we picked up a few steps and grabbed some eyeballs. Live music venues, casinos and nightclubs underscored the nightlife of this sunny city where we danced all night to some of the hottest music and town and by day break, the heady feel of Queensland had already started to sink in our minds as one of the best hen party hubs we have ever visited.

Australia hen night activities

Posted by usha in Untagged

We decided to hit  Australia for the hen party of our friend Blessy mainly to experience and explore its pumping night life. We had one of our hottest and the wildest night out here in this exciting destination , which baffled and surprised us with her multitude of choices and high voltage party milieu.

Choosing the best from a long list of activities was no kid's play as every other option was something special and interesting. From party bus to  river cruise, belly dancing, night clubs theatres and outdoor jazz, the choices were mind boggling indeed. The nightclubs that open way past midnight showcased the best of the night life of Australia where we partied with party animals from around the world who were in search of fun and excitement. We shed our baggage of inhibitions and enjoyed every bit of the party mood with heaps of  foot tapping music and dance to add to the tempo. Cheap drinks and exquisite menu added flavour to our night out while some of the fun seekers in our gang decided to spend the night with traditional aboriginal dancers over a tapas meal around a crackling campfire as the charm of this Australian hen party started sinking in our mind!

Australia hen day activities

Posted by usha in Untagged

Though  Australia is better known as the land of the kangaroos and the boomerang for most of us, we had a pleasant surprise when we reached this lively and upbeat party destination. Being the smallest continent in the world made it well accessible enabling us to explore the diverse landscapes and attractions this happening place had to offer.

From state of the art shopping malls and chic restaurants and hang out spots, which are  just a short drive from mountains and vast plains,  Australia is a great place to be in for fun and adventure. There were many exciting outdoor activities like quad biking, climbing, skiing, zorbing and horse riding among others for us to choose from. After an exhilarating spell outdoors, it was time for a few drinks, grubs and a banter session.

There were many cute cafes and chic bistros and bargains shops dotting the pretty streets and after soaking up the goodness of some of the best dine and wine options we hit the beaches to have a well deserved sun tan and to spend a lazy afternoon.

There were much to do in our list before the sun down including a luxuriant  spa session, enjoying the opera and to enjoy the cultural edifices including sandstone cathedrals and the houses on stilts among others to take a sneak peek at the rich culture and history of this amazing country on the move.

We chose Australia as our hen party destination mostly for its liveliness and unique culture, which made it a hot stop over. We were pampered with an enticing activity chart that ensured something special for everyone. From river cruise to party bus and spas and wine tasting, we were literally on our toes right from the word 'go'.

The country sides had some of the best natural spectacles and exotic flora and fauna including some quirky animals which do not exist anywhere else on earth. From arid deserts to rolling hills and vast beaches, Australia offered a kaleidoscope of  fun and excitement. It was one of the most craziest and wildest  hen weekend  break we enjoyed abroad. The nightlife was equally alive and exciting, packed to the rim with some of the best options we could ask from belly dancing to jelly wresting and more, we had a crack of many interesting activities for the first time in our lives. Loads of belly laughs and a heady dose of letting our hair down.
