Location

The city is located just about fifty kilometers North West of Sydney’s central business district.  The Blue Mountains area where the City is situated is a mountainous region in New South Wales Australia Bordering Sydney’s metropolitan area. You will also find the Nepean and Hawkesbury rivers to the East of this place, the Coxs River and Lake Burrangorang to the west and south. The Wolgan and Colo Rivers are found to the North of the city. When to visit

The best time of the year to visit this place is anytime during the year, however winter has a special feel to it. During June, July, and August a fete called the Yulefest is celebrated here. Several venues here offer some sort of Christmas style celebrations.
